RAP has teamed with Forest Hill Health + Fitness, where a successful program has grown. The emphasis on exercise opens the door to many opportunities for people with Parkinson’s. If you want to get involved, click here.

When Can You Start?

Rock Steady Boxing classes are offered several times per week at Forest Hill Health + Fitness. The first step is to schedule an appointment to observe a Rock Steady Boxing class and a time for an assessment to determine the appropriate class placement for new participants. Care partners and family members are welcome and encouraged to volunteer. Call 410-893-4153 for more information. Come join the movement!

It has been proven that exercise helps to diminish Parkinson’s symptoms.

Boxing is just one of the exercises that can target specific Parkinson’s challenge areas. Other activities like dance, swimming and cycling are also workouts that are intense and work the entire body.
